our core values
We are committed to exceeding expectations. All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified and have a minimum of 48 hours in Child Development. Many hold a Child Development Associate Credential TM or hold an under-graduate or graduate degree.
We believe our diversity is our strength. Our teachers and students come from different cultural backgrounds. We embrace our differences with kindness and acceptance.
We believe language is critical in our global society. Because our school has a long-standing excellent reputation within the early childhood education industry, and we want to keep it this way, we are able to attract an equally high-quality professional staff that are dedicated to making a difference in each child’s world.
We are committed to providing the best education. Our teachers foster an immersion environment that encourages students to be able to interact in the target language while teaching them core subjects like math, science, and arts, as well as teaching them some of the cultural aspects of their own language.
At Crossing Borders our teachers recognize the importance of ongoing communication with parents. They have an app for daily communication with parents as well as availability to schedule in-person meetings. We have staff who have been with us for over 14 years, which is a testament to the consistent, high-quality, caring atmosphere at Crossing Borders. We support our teachers with in-service training throughout the year and an Academic Director to enhance and expand their classroom knowledge.
