Teachers Model Essential Patience, Repetition, and Commitment

The acclimation process depends on the amount of time your child is in the language immersion school. Full-time students get used to the program, curriculum, and environment a lot faster than our part-time students. While part-time students do take longer to acclimate, don’t worry! Teachers are here to ensure that your child is happy, safe, and nurtured through it all!

A Fun Start to the Day Ahead

Every morning, your child explores their new language and culture through play, individual and group interactions, and age-appropriate activities that capture and hold their attention. Your child’s day starts in the targeted language, by:

Full Language Immersion Creates fluency in the target language

After a few months, your child understands a new language and speaks a few words. Teachers are very nurturing and attentive to your child’s needs, and this personal attention makes the difference for catching every teachable moment in our full language immersion programs in Houston.

"She had a real affection for her teachers and made lasting friendships with her classmates"

Crossing Borders was a great experience for our daughter, who completed two years with the school from age two to four. She had a real affection for her teachers and made lasting friendships with her classmates. The base that she received in a second and third language is invaluable. We know that her start in language education and education in general at Crossing Borders will serve her very well for years to come.

“Wonderful place. Our daughter loved the kind teachers and friends, learned a lot in one year. Would absolutely recommend Crossing Borders to other parents that are looking for a place to develop the language skills of their toddlers.”

" My Toddler Has Been With CB For 18 Months Now!"
My toddler has been with CB for 18 months now. We love the school and community. Teacher turn-overs has been low, and my toddler has gotten to know all the teachers, even outside of his class. He has also made many friends. His morning drop-off reminds me of the old sitcom Cheers, “where everybody knows your name”. Someone always yells his name as soon as he walks into the classroom. It has been a wonderful experience.

"Crossing Borders Has Been An Amazing Preschool!"
Crossing Borders has been an amazing preschool for my little one. She’s been there a little over a year and has truly blossomed since being a student there. She loves going every day and has a strong connection to her teachers. She is in the Spanish Toddler class and Ms. Lily has really sharpened my daughter’s strengths as well as reinforced areas where she needed an extra push.
