Teachers Model Essential Patience, Repetition, and Commitment
Our teachers are wonderful during the acclimation process. They always work to establish a relationship with their students as the student is being introduced to the immersion program. During the transition, the teachers use more of the student’s native language and body language to introduce new concepts and ensure all students are comfortable during the learning process. Our structured curriculum also helps students acclimate quickly.
A Fun Start to the Day Ahead
Every morning, your child explores their new language and culture through play, individual and group interactions, and age-appropriate activities that capture and hold their attention. Your child’s day starts in the targeted language, by:
- Going over colors
- Learning about numbers and counting
- Covering the letters of the alphabet, both in writing and phonetically
- Listing the days of the week and the months of the year
- Discussing the weather

"She had a real affection for her teachers and made lasting friendships with her classmates"
Crossing Borders was a great experience for our daughter, who completed two years with the school from age two to four. She had a real affection for her teachers and made lasting friendships with her classmates. The base that she received in a second and third language is invaluable. We know that her start in language education and education in general at Crossing Borders will serve her very well for years to come.

Creative, Nurturing, and Sweet Teachers Build Trust
“Wonderful place. Our daughter loved the kind teachers and friends, learned a lot in one year. Would absolutely recommend Crossing Borders to other parents that are looking for a place to develop the language skills of their toddlers.”

" My Toddler Has Been With CB For 18 Months Now!"
My toddler has been with CB for 18 months now. We love the school and community. Teacher turn-overs has been low, and my toddler has gotten to know all the teachers, even outside of his class. He has also made many friends. His morning drop-off reminds me of the old sitcom Cheers, “where everybody knows your name”. Someone always yells his name as soon as he walks into the classroom. It has been a wonderful experience.

"His Teachers Are Very Nurturing And Attentive To His Needs!"
My son is in the 18 months Spanish classroom. He just started few months ago and he already understands the language and speaks few words. His teachers are very nurturing and attentive to his needs. He is always excited and happy to come to the school!

"Crossing Borders Has Been An Amazing Preschool!"
Crossing Borders has been an amazing preschool for my little one. She’s been there a little over a year and has truly blossomed since being a student there. She loves going every day and has a strong connection to her teachers. She is in the Spanish Toddler class and Ms. Lily has really sharpened my daughter’s strengths as well as reinforced areas where she needed an extra push.
